Trade Parameters
Please note that when migrating, all your trade parameters, including prices, pairs, account types, commission fees, and spreads, will remain unchanged, making sure that your trades are not affected.
Useful Information to Keep in Mind
Swap Fees amounts are the same on MetaTrader and TradeLocker, however they are charged and credited differently:
- MetaTrader: Swap fees only impact your equity while the trade is open. When you close a trade, swap fees are charged/credited to your balance.
- TradeLocker: Swap fees are charged/credited to your balance immediately.
As a result, when you migrate your trading accounts from MetaTrader to TradeLocker, you will immediately incur or be credited for any pending Swap Fees, which will be shown in your Balance.
Remember that this will only apply during your initial migration. After you begin trading on TradeLocker, your Swap Fees will be applied daily at the end of business server time.
How to Migrate: Step-by-step guide
Migrating to TradeLocker is easy. All you must do is follow the below steps:
Simply navigate to the Accounts Section from the side menu.
Select the Account you would like to migrate by tapping on "Migrate."*
*It is important to note that accounts with no active trades, funds, or negative balances cannot be migrated.
If you attempt to migrate an account like this, it will be instantly archived.
A pop-up notification with the migration status will appear.
You will be able to cancel the migration while the loading time is still running.
You will receive an email with your login details and a link to access TradeLocker.
